Anyhoo, after checking the internet and the maps, we decided to head West along the Crows Nest Trail (Hwy 3) and check out down there. I used to travel along those roads when I used to drive truck but in a Semi you never get the chance to really see the places as you have to really stay on the highways.
So straight after work on Friday night we hitched up and headed off to the Lost Lemon. We got there quite late and it was dark, however, the host was still up and about and they were very helpful and even sold us a few bundles of firewood so we could have the all important campfire.
Friday night was pretty uneventful, i built a fire and we drank beer all night. We took Gizmo with us and it was interesting to see how he coped with the fire, basically, he found a warm spot and went to sleep.
The whole weekend was very peaceful and quiet, we made campfires, we barbecued on the campfire and we drank beer around the campfire. A very successful weekend 8-)
